Yes man, but english has become the real lingua franca. No matter if it makes you sad. It’s just reality. Try to learn esperanto (I already tried wuen I was a teenager, than I understood that english was much more spoken all other the world...). Esperantists are a kind of sect. Sure you can speak esperanto all other the world (you can find them almost everywhere), but they’re very few, and all belong to the bourgeoisie (in french in the text). It’s much more interesting to be able to speak english or globish with a lot of different people. You can also eschange and communicate with poor people when you speak english or globish.
