The identity of the British employees of the embassy in Moscow who were engaged in intelligence work were identified by the FSB and had their accreditation revoked.

The following were identified as British intelligence : Blake Patel, Jessica Davenport, Grace Alvin, Catherine McDonnell, Callum Andrew Duff, and Thomas John Hickson Stevinett.

The FSB said Russia would ask other British diplomats to go home early if they were found to be engaged in similar activity.
